Joel Rockey is a crafter of homespun songs under the influence of a pantheon of musical stylings. He spins yarns of brokenness, redemption, and grasping for redemption from the ashes of brokenness. Over the last decade, Joel has been recording and distributing collections of songs from his laboratory known affectionately as The Mustard Room. Since 2001, he has written dozens of songs and released 11 albums in the popular compact disc format. While often utilizing a plethora of instrumentation during recording, Mr. Rockey typically performs live with the accompaniment of a guitar, ukulele, harmonica and the occasional tambourine. He has, however, been known to recruit and perform with friends from time to time under such monikers as Flying J & The Pilots, Rebel Robot, and Penguins of the Horse Kingdom. Joel Rockey has recently been promoting his newest full-length record 'Kiss It All Goodbye' while writing and laying the groundwork for a new collection of recorded songs.
