Joel Rockey is a crafter of homespun songs under the influence of a pantheon of musical stylings. He spins yarns of brokenness, redemption and grasping for redemption from the ashes of brokenness. Over the last decade, Joel has been recording and distributing discs of his songs from his laboratory known affectionately as The Mustard Room. Since 2001, he has written dozens of songs and released 11 albums of recordings. While often utilizing a plethora of instrumentation during recording, Mr. Rockey typically performs his songs live with the accompaniment of a guitar, ukulele, harmonica and the occasional tambourine. He has however been known to recruit and perform with friends under the moniker of Flying J & The Pilots from time to time. Joel Rockey is currently promoting his new record 'Kiss It All Goodbye' and is beginning to lay ground for the recording of another collection of songs
